Merry Christmas! We hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday season. We are grateful for friends and family who enrich our lives. It has been a memorable 2009 year. We are looking forward to a wonderful 2010. We wish you all the best! Love, The Brooks'

9 Months Old

Kaylee is 9 months old now. She loves life already! She gets in the cupboards, opens up drawers, pulls clothes out of the laundry basket, smiles when Mom or Dad say "no," crawls up stairs, and is liking being with other children. She sings like she wants to be in the choir at church. She has two teeth on top and two on bottom. Two more are slowly making their way through on the top. Everything about the holidays are fun with her... the tree, the lights, the wrapping paper. We are loving it all!

October Fun

Our little princess

So cute...

Nelson's Grove

We took Kaylee to a park near our house. She loved watching the ducks and swinging for the first time. It is fun to watch her with all of her "firsts." Everything is so exciting and new for her.

Oh, the things we eat...

Kaylee is loving eating solids now. We've tried a few fun things with her. The cookie she took from the hands of a girl in our ward. She has fast hands! Imagine, the girl didn't want it back after Kaylee had already started sucking on it. The paper is something that Kaylee has chosen to feed herself. We are trying to break her of that...but it isn't working very well. Newspapers, magazines, you name it...she wants it.

6 months

Kaylee is 6 months old now. Boy the time has flown by. She continues to be the center of our world. She has her two bottom teeth in ... opefully you can see them in the second picture. She is a pro at rice cereal and has now tried all of her vegetables. Carrots were not a favorite. Next she gets to try fruits. Kaylee sits up by herself to play. She topples occassionally but is doing very well. She rolls from her back to her tummy and all over the room. Today she rolled to some of dad's papers and had some fun with them. She is getting too fast already for us. We are in trouble when she starts crawling. You can see from the pictures that she is still so darling and cheerful!

Just so cute...

Kaylee is five months old now. She is working on rolling over by herself. She loves her hands, feet, and holding onto anything that she can get her hands on...mom's hair, dad's glasses, toys, cereal spoon, etc... She has also found her voice and loves to squeel, especially during sacrament meeting when it is quiet. She is so much fun!

Camping

Kaylee's first camping experience. We went with our ward on their summer campout in Fillmore. We did the whole tent thing... with the luxury of Kaylee's basinet. She even slept through the night.

ln June we went to Zions, Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef with friends AJ, Sarah and Walter. The kids were troopers with our hiking and site seeing. Everyone that passed us on the trails commented on what a happy baby Kaylee is. She would smile for everyone.

Look at our "All American Cutie!" We watched the Freedom Festival Parade on July 4th. Kaylee enjoyed being with Uncle Josh. The parade was a little bit long for her. She had to catch a nap towards the end.

Summer Fun

Stewart Falls with our ward for Family Home Evening. Kaylee didn't love the great out doors this day.

3 Months Old

Kaylee continues to make us so happy. Her smiles just melt our hearts. If she isn't stretching those arms then she has them in her mouth. No more pacifier for her. She is such a sweetie. One more week of work for me and then I get to stay home with her. I am so excited for that. I don't want to miss a thing!
